There are four types of color contact lenses, enhancement tints, light-filtering tints, visibility tints and opaque color tints. Most of the colored contact lenses are available in the market in Plano form. These are in variety for the people who have astigmatism, and whose need is frequent replacement or disposable lens.

A visibility tint is green or blue tint with a lens. It helps one to see, it is better during removal and insertion. Since it has very light tint so it doesn’t more affect on eye color. Usually an enhancement tint is a solid tint. It is little darker than a visibility tint and affect eye color. It is used for enhance the existing color of eyes. The people who have a bit light colored eyes are used these types of tints to increase intense of their eye color. Color tints can change one’s eye color; these are deeper and opaque tints.
